How many steps do you take each day? ?

The often-repeated goal of 10,000 steps per day may sound lofty, but it may not be entirely necessary…
Recent research has shown that walking lowers death rates, and the mortality benefit was seen with as few as 4,400 steps!

So, although setting a goal is good, there is actually no scientific basis for the 10,000-step recommendation.
