Sports season is here and with that comes the risks associated with playing. If you or your kids are involved, you should be prepared for injuries. Just in case, here are some concussion recommendations for the first 24 hours:
✔️Seek immediate medical attention.
✔️Have a responsible attendant stay with you.
✔️Sleep with your head slightly elevated.
✔️Drink only clear fluids for the first 8-12 hours.
✔️After 8-12 hours, begin with light meals and progress to a normal diet over the next day.
✔️Avoid unnecessary physical and mental activities.
