#chiroforchildren

A recent survey of both parents of patients and their chiropractic provider indicates that children (ages 1 – 18) benefit from chiropractic care. Although the primary concern was musculoskeletal conditions, an improvement in overall wellness was noted. The most common techniques used by the practitioner were diversified technique, Gonstead technique, Thompson technique, and activator methods.

The study concludes that children experience a high rate of improvement for specific complaints, and also benefit from an  overall improvement in wellness when treated by a chiropractor. The extremely low incidence of adverse events (3 in 5,000) also indicates that chiropractic treatment is safe for children as well.
